This phase starts with helping you select the right lot to fit your needs. If you don't already own your lot, we can help you evaluate the lot/land to ensure there are no unforeseen problems that would negatively impact your home project. After a lot is chosen, we can assist you with your house plans by tweaking an existing house plan or starting a new plan from scratch; we have relationships with local architects to complete the plan process. After the plan is complete, we will provide you a cost to construct your home. If financing is needed, we also have contacts with local banks that can help with interim construction loans.
Once construction begins, we only work with trusted subcontractors. We keep them accountable and on schedule throughout the entire build. We ensure that all residential building codes and energy codes are followed for the most energy efficient and functional house. At JH Brown Custom Homes, we do not have any standard builder grade features you must choose from. All homes are custom built to meet your needs and fit your home style. The customer will be guided through each step of the building process and will ultimately be selecting all interior and exterior finishes.
The last step in any custom home build to complete the building process. This phase includes site cleanup, systems training, final inspections and move-in coordination. After completion, we have a final walkthrough to ensure your complete satisfaction. We stand behind our work with
one (1) year home warranty and a ten (10) year structural warranty provided by a third party structural warranty company.
